This one turns to identity and its fluidity:
TOPO:
I think I am a fixed thing—
a defined and bounded self.
RHEO:
But who you are flows
through your relations, your movements, your moments.
TOPO:
So identity isn’t a solid core,
but a river?
RHEO:
Yes.
A dance of continuity and change.
TOPO:
Then to know myself, I must know the currents I move through.
RHEO:
Exactly.
Identity is not what you have,
but what you become in relation.
RHEO & TOPO:
I am not a thing.
I am a becoming.
